If you sign in
You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. We store your email address, the preferences you set (theme, streams you follow, stories you save), and one session cookie so you stay signed in for 90 days. The cookie is first-party, HTTP-only, and only set after you sign in. Login links are stored as a hash, work once, and expire in 15 minutes. You can delete your account and all of it from your account page.
If you join the newsletter
We keep your email address and whether you confirmed. We email you to confirm, then once a week. Every email has a one-tap unsubscribe link. There are no tracking pixels and no link tracking.
Who sees requests
The site is served by Cloudflare, which sees standard request details such as your IP address, as any host does. We keep no raw IP addresses. Rate limiting uses a one-way hash that expires within hours.

Every story, job, video and book links to another site. Once you click, that site's privacy rules apply. The support link goes to Buy Me a Coffee.
